A second parent from East Dallas has reached out to discuss their view on the Dallas ISD District 2 race. This parent, a Kingston supporter, has decided to change his vote from Kirkpatrick to Marshall after taking a closer look at both candidates. Looks like a vote for Kingston doesn't necessarily mean a vote for Kirkpatrick after all.
Time to dive into these 4 priorities. Thank you, Lori, for letting us know a bit more about what you want to accomplish.
Parent perspective matters. When Ross Williams, a parent from district 2, reached out to discuss his views on the current runoff election, I just had to post his thoughts. Thank you, Ross, for taking the time to write in.
Well that was a close one...

I got an unexpected call from a student and very much liked most of what I heard.
Mid-week, first week. Half way done with our first week back. How's it going for you?
I am proud of Audrey Pinkerton. There, I said it.
It's student meltdown season. Not a time I enjoy.
Sometimes technology really lets you down.
We all have a responsibility to stand against hate. Teachers are on the front lines.
