Did you get a chance to see Hinojosa's community meeting last night? The auditorium was almost empty, so I'm guessing not. Here's what you missed.
6 in class days to work on their project, one example, guided help, a rubric of expectations and less than 20% turned in. Was I not clear? Did I not spend enough time going over the expectations with them? Are they just bored of the project or is this some extreme senioritis. I thought it would be fun, create your own business, calculate your revenues and expenses. I am so tired of telling students to get started working or keep working. Problem is I can't fail the missing assignments, because then everyone fails and I am not in compliance.
The other day I got a 4 minute spot. I am not exaggerating.
"My school is a disaster but my room is a paradise." Wow. Now that's teacher strength.
