Interesting board meeting this week.The stage is set for an interesting election season in Dallas.
There was some strong community participation last night. That's an encouraging sign for our schools and students.

6 in class days to work on their project, one example, guided help, a rubric of expectations and less than 20% turned in. Was I not clear? Did I not spend enough time going over the expectations with them? Are they just bored of the project or is this some extreme senioritis. I thought it would be fun, create your own business, calculate your revenues and expenses. I am so tired of telling students to get started working or keep working. Problem is I can't fail the missing assignments, because then everyone fails and I am not in compliance.
These days come a few times a semester, but some days I come to school and everything my students do bothers me.
There are few shows is perfect for catching up on during a long weekend than The Walking Dead. It works better all at once than week to week, but generally I am never able to be patient enough to make that happen for myself. Here’s the recap of the midseason premiere of The Walking Dead. This week, like last week, was mostly set up with small bits of action toward the end. Loved every non-Jasper second of it though.
