A second parent from East Dallas has reached out to discuss their view on the Dallas ISD District 2 race. This parent, a Kingston supporter, has decided to change his vote from Kirkpatrick to Marshall after taking a closer look at both candidates. Looks like a vote for Kingston doesn't necessarily mean a vote for Kirkpatrick after all.

Parent perspective matters. When Ross Williams, a parent from district 2, reached out to discuss his views on the current runoff election, I just had to post his thoughts. Thank you, Ross, for taking the time to write in.

The only incumbent running for reelection this cycle and the 15 year leader of District 5, Dr. Lew Blackburn has decided to once again run for reelection. Thank you for your service and years of dedication Dr. Blackburn.
