Don't let that stop you from resting.
You are no good to yourself of your students if you get overwhelmed and fail to relieve that pressure. There are plenty of things to do this week especially if the weather stays nice.
1. Go outside: There's no reason to subject yourself to florescent light or recycled air. You get enough of that during the school day. Grab a drink. Go outside. Get some fresh air. Do what you don't get to do on a daily basis.
2. Catch up on some TV you've been missing. We recommend The Walking Dead and The 100, but there's plenty of TV out there. Pick up a new show and finish it. House of Cards is back, so why not give it a go? I also watch history docummentaries to keep my content knowledge fresh and find new materials that may be useful to my students. Two birds, one stone.
3. Catch up on our Dallas Education Podcast! We've taken a month off getting ready for our election phase. Catch up before we pick up again. There's quite a few surprises on the way.
Have a good Spring Break. We'll be writing, so check back and stay with us!
