Dear Education, I love you.
There are very few things that have given me joy like experiencing success in the classroom. Whether I was having it or helping it occur, classroom success always made me feel like I was on top of the world. That's why having a talented, motivated teacher in every classroom is important. That's what every student deserves.
Education is difficult. Education makes me angry. Education is worth it, and I'm ready to dedicate myself to it for the rest of my life.
Have I played games and acted like I didn't love education? Sure. I tried studying other things, doing other jobs, etc. It wasn't the same. If education isn't involved, it just isn't exciting. I don't just want education in my life, I need education in my life. It's everything that I think is interesting plus the added benefit of being one of the things that, if improved, can make all other areas of life that much better.
That's why this is my favorite time of the year. Election season is here. Education AND politics? Can't wait.
