It's easy for me to remember when we started because it's my half birthday, one of my best friends' actual birthday, and the same day I give my dog his monthly flea, tick, and heart worm preventative that he throws up almost every time.
It's a special day for us, and yes, I'm including all of you in that "us."
When we started this blog and podcast we never promised that it'd be good, professional, grammatically correct, or any of that. We're not investigative reporters or journalists, we're teachers, and we're young ones to boot. You won't get expertise here, but what you will get and have gotten of the past year is an honest look inside the daily life of a teacher in Dallas. The good, the bad, the gross, and the ugly are all part of the picture.
365 days, 112k pageviews, and 20k readers later, we're just as excited as the day we started. Maybe more. That's small potatoes for sure, but it makes us very proud.
