Shout out to all my teachers getting disrespected by volunteer poll workers today
Do yourself a favor and avoid the frustration of getting talked down to by a poll worker today. You may think they are there to help you, but you'd be wrong. They are there to make sure you belong and then to condescend to you for as long as possible.
"How do I know if this is my right polling location?" I heard a teacher ask. "Aren't you supposed to be the teacher? How do you not know?" Yes it makes me laugh, but it also makes me sad. This is one of the many reasons people don't vote.
