Well we are back. New year, new resolutions, but same old school. Day one, first period, fight. Second period, new teachers walking out crying. By the end of the day veteran teachers were kicking out their students. Let's not forget the endless amounts of paperwork we are completing to kick the year off. Is it too late to give up on the New Years resolutions? How far away is spring break?
Lots to look forward to this semester from STAAR, extended observations, to TELPAS. We are half way the first week. Focus on the smiling faces, excited students and lunch breaks and we will get there finally. The last one I'm serious about. I decided to rejoin my friends this semester in the teachers lounge for lunch and I already feel more relaxed just thinking about something bedsides school for 30 minutes. So that's one resolution I'm not giving up on yet.
