I would take a picture of you if I didn't think I'd face some kind of legal action. DISD already blocks our blog (only ours) on campus. If we started taking pictures of sleeping security guards, we might get a call from one of those lawyers that shows up to board briefings.
Just got done blogging about DISD school environments and how that contributes to teachers taking frequent sick days and/or leaving the district all together, but safety is just as important. Sleeping security guards don't keep the building safe. When you have the police showing up to school looking for students breaking into houses and/or stealing cars (both true and recent events) maybe you should keep your head on a swivel instead of catching a few extra winks.
Yes, I prefer your behavior to your predecessors that were asked to leave for inappropriately touching students, but less wrong is still wrong. Please correct your behavior.
