1. Post "Given (the number of questions of the test), SWBAT ... and then list ALL the concepts and TEKs on the test.
2. Post Nothing, since a test is not completed in 5-10 minutes, it therefore is not a DOL.
3. Post a summarizing activity on the TEKs on the test that CAN be completed in 5-10 minutes
4. Post nothing because due to recent changes in DOL policy teachers do not need a DOL everyday.
The result. We have no idea. We had all had conversations with leaders and gotten conflicting advice. If anybody has cracked the exam DOL mystery, please share because we are lost. Seriously, please share.
Really though, why does it matter? Who cares what we write on the board that day, the point of the lesson is the test. Don't take off points because I didnt write the correctly formatted DOL. Does it affect the lesson? Will I not have correct data on my students? Will I not be able to get my students to where they need to be because of the wrong DOL on a test day? NO. Tell me what will check that box off and lets move on to what matters.
