Jaha & Raven
I hated everything about this. Sure, Raven is hurting, but this introduction of what has now become the cult of the city of light is dumb and will only make everyone part of it (like Jasper next week maybe?) way more annoying. Jaha should have died on The Ark. Period. Keeping him around wasn’t necessary to accomplish what it looks like is happening: The creation of a common enemy for everyone that hates each other. If the commander and Prince Roan come together with Pike and Skaikru, I’ll sentence myself to death by a thousand cuts. That’d be so dumb.
Raven was grumpy about being hurt. She was depressed about being injured, sidelined, and talked to like a special case by everyone. I understand that. She’s the tech person though. She doesn’t need to be able to run around and do barrel rolls. She still has the same niche she had when she came down to earth. I’m not that convinced with this either. Also, where is the dude that built her that leg brace? Did Bellamy’s fake girlfriend kill him to sneak into the show?
The Piketatorship
Speaking of death by a thousand cuts, Pike needs a good dose of that. Pike was always suspicious of “grounders,” but he wasn’t a monster. The Mt. Weather thing was bad, but blindly murdering people without a goal other than “death to all grounders” doesn’t strike me as very Pike. It also doesn't’ seem like there’s enough Skaikru or bullets to defeat a united 12 clan army. Pike is smart enough to know that. Clarke knows that. The commander knows that. I’m not really sure why this was the move. Monty’s mom doesn’t make sense either. She was sad and suspicious, but they have met grounders that have helped. They tolerated Lincoln whose people have been helpful to them. Not understand that the Ice Nation is the focus of their anger doesn’t make sense to me based on what i’ve seen in the characters.
Bellamy
Speaking of not making sense, WHEN IS THIS GOING TO END!? Bellamy, nobody believes you cared about your girlfriend whose name nobody remembers. “This is who I’ve always been” isn’t true. You have learned new information since then. You have grown since then. It doesn’t make sense to let your guilt over your error turn you into a heartless genocidal Pike-puppet. GTFO. Death by a thousand cuts to you too.
Clarke
I’m not in the mood for your dumb speeches, Clarke. Blood must have blood. Kill Pike and his army of sheeple, then let the Skaikru, under Kane, become valuable members of the 12 clans. Convincing Lexa to do this is going to get her killed. That nightblood that was with the Ice Queen is going to usurp her power, start a war, and kill everybody. It will be a classic Clarke trying to fix everything royal screw up. On second thought, this is going to be awesome.
Lexa
Are you stupid? Seriously. “I’m going to let 300 people die without retribution” for peace? This is what everyone says is wrong with you. You’re going to lose your people.
Murphy
Don’t care, Don’t care. I really don’t care about you and your girlfriend.
This episode wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great. Compared to the first few episodes this season, I could have done without this one.
