The first six weeks is over. You have earned yourself a little bit of downtime. That said, keep your head on a swivel and remember that your students are everywhere. Don't panic if you hear your teacher name ring out while you are trying to have a little fun with your grown up friends at the fair. Stay calm, say hello, then fade into the crowd. Also, it's ginger ale in your decorative novelty cup if anyone asks. Always ginger ale.
