A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of sitting down with a regular on #talkDISD, RetiredTeacher, and it was quite a bit of fun. Meeting the person behind the keyboard is usually shocking to both people, but I'd like to do this more often. It takes a different and special kind of confidence to have a discussion face to face. Not everyone has it. RetiredTeacher does. She's a savvy and passionate educator to boot (that means "also"). I would have been fortunate to have her as a teacher.
