Here's why this is a good thing. Any and every opportunity people invested in Dallas kids and schools have to have conversations with the people making decisions is a good thing. If you don't ask questions and they don't give answers, nothing happens and nothing gets better. There's no reason not to participate.
Too often these events are at inconvenient times and locations for a huge number of people to show up. This is your chance.
If you get frustrated and are patiently waiting to get your question answered, why not loop us in by also tweeting @turnandtalks and throwing a #TnTDISD at the end of your question? We'll keep you company with Trustee Solis is getting around to you.
Everyone should do their best to be respectful, even if they are passionate and angry. More things like this will happen in the future if this goes well. Maybe more people will even start paying attention and actually voting. If we're lucky, maybe a few students will jump in the mix and throw some questions at Solis as well.
